Apple Cinnamon Rice Crisp

Ingredients:

1 cup uncooked white rice

1 can (21 ounces) Comstock® or Wilderness® More Fruit Apple Filling

1 cup brown sugar, divided

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 1/2 cups oats (old fashioned or quick cooking)

2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions:

  1. Prepare rice according to package directions. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray 2-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Combine rice, pie filling, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts in a medium bowl. Pour into prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine remaining brown sugar and rolled oats. Blend in butter; mix well. Sprinkle over rice mixture. Bake 30 minutes
