Coleslaw Recipe
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 bag coleslaw mix 16 ozs., cabbage & carrots
  • 1 tablespoon of pulped onion
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, white vinegar, salt and pepper.
  2. Using a microplane or the fine side of a box grater, grate a chunk of onion until you have one tablespoon of onion pulp.
  3. Add the onion pulp to the mayonnaise mixture and whisk until smooth.
  4. Add the bag of coleslaw mix and toss to combine.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container to chill.
