Easy Rolo Stuffed Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 unwrapped Rolo candies
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 3 inch squares.
  5. Place Rolo candies into centers and fold the squares over the Rolo's, making a ball.
  6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. ** You could also substitute with premade slice and bake cookies.
