Fast Ice Cream Using Ziploc Bags
Ingredients
  • One gallon size Ziploc freezer bag
  • One pint size Ziploc freezer bag
  • 6 tablespoons rock salt
  • One tray of ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup your favorite fruit juice
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
Instructions
The ice bag:
  1. Empty one full tray of ice cubes into a 1 gallon Ziploc freezer bag.
  2. Add 6 tablespoons rock salt.
The juice bag:
  1. Pour half a cup of fruit juice into a 1 pint Ziploc freezer bag.
  2. Add one cup of cream and a tablespoon of sugar.
  3. Squeeze all the air out of the bag and check that you securely seal the bag. Place it into the large bag of ice.
  4. Wrap the bag in a towel and shake it for five minutes.
  5. Remove the bag that once held the fruit juice, and check out your fresh bag of ice cream. Wipe the ice, salt and water off the outside of the bag so it doesn’t get in the ice cream.
  6. Place into a bowl and enjoy.
