Arm Pit Stain. 1 tsp. Dawn dish washing detergent, 3-4 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, and a couple tablespoons of baking soda — then scrub.
Pet stains and odor. You will need 2 cups white distilled vinegar , 2 cups of lukewarm water, 4 generous tablespoons of baking soda and a spray bottle. Blot up as much of the stain as you can with towel. Mix the vinegar and water. Add in 4 heaping tablespoons of baking soda, adding it in smaller amounts if it threatens to fizz over (and it really does fizz!). Put into your spray bottle and spray the spot. Let it do it’s work for about 5 minutes and blot with a clean towel.
Coffee Stains. Pour club soda liberally on the stain and blot, continuing until the stain has completely lifted. This method is also great for when you spill coffee on your carpet or tablecloth.
Paint on clothing. Dab with some rubbing alcohol.
Red Wine. Dab at the stain with a damp, white cotton cloth to absorb any excess wine. (Rubbing is the wrong move because it will actually set the stain.) Pull the fabric taut. Coat the stain with a generous amount of salt and let sit for at least five minutes to allow the salt to start absorbing the liquid. Add boiling water slowly and carefully—pour boiling water over the stain from a height of at least eight inches. Machine wash with the hottest water possible f0r the type of clothing.
Blinds. Mix equal parts vinegar and water in a bowl. Dip a sock in it. Put your hand in the sock and wipe down the blinds.
Charcoal Grill. Take 1/2 of a peeled white onion, stab a fork into the small end of one half. Use the fork to rub the onion back and forth over the grates of a hot grill. The onion will deglaze the grates and add a little extra flavor the next time you bust out your grill
Curling Iron. Rub a piece of plain steel wool onto the metal rod.
Grease on your floor. Mix in a bucket a solution of 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap, 1/4 cup washing soda, 2 gallons of very warm tap water and mop your floor.
Lipstick. Spray the spot with hairspray, let it set for 10 minutes, dab with a damp washcloth, and wash as normal.
Microwave. Heat a bowl of water and vinegar for 5 minutes in the microwave. The steam will dissolve stuck-on stains.
Small paint spots on clothing. A razor works wonder. Just run it across the spot.
