Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder(OCD) is a common, chronic and long-lasting disorder. Get a pencil and paper to keep track of the number of points you get to see if you may be OCD.

Do you have a constant fear of being late? Stress over not being on time for appointments or meeting friends. If you have this fear then give yourself 1 point.

Do you find yourself refusing to wear clothing that is only slightly wrinkled or with a slight stain? If this is true give yourself 1 point.

Do you find yourself wearing gloves when touching most objects? If so give yourself 3 points.

Do you have a need to strictly obey all traffic laws? Always go the speed limit, make a complete stop at stop sign and nervous about not obeying the laws. If so give yourself 1 point.

Do you find yourself counting with your fingers, tapping on a hard surface or other scentless acts to reduce anxiety? If so give yourself 1 point.

Have trouble sleeping? Constantly reviewing the day to make sure you did every thing correct. If this is you then give yourself 2 points.

Do you wash and rewash your dishes? Feeling they are never clean enough. If so give yourself 2 points.

Do you avoid public restrooms? If you do the give yourself 1 point.

Do your shoes and clothes always have to be in a certain order? If so give yourself 1 point.

Does it bother you to touch animals? Having the feeling they are dirty. Give yourself 1 point.

Does your life have to always be in order? Do find yourself always putting things together in a particular order? Your life or objects. If so give yourself 2 points.

Do you feel the need to clean everything you touch? Using cleaning wipes to clean door knobs, shopping carts, etc. If you do then give yourself 2 points.

Are you obsessed with rewriting or rereading everything? If yes then give your self 2 points.

Do you wash or sanitize your hands excessively? Give yourself 3 points if you do.

1 to 5 points you do not have a problem with OCD.      6 to 15 points you probably have OCD.         16 to 23 points you have a problem and definitely have OCD.
