Ingredients
  • 1 package NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Baking Mix with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels 17 1/2 oz.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 water
Decoration:
  • 10 4- inch lollipop sticks
  • 12 ozs. NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels
  • 1 plus 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening
  • 1/3 cup reserved NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels from the baking mix
  • Laffy Taffy® Butterfinger® Unwrapped Mini Peanut Butter Cups and Orange candies, optional
  • 10 toothpicks cut in half, optional
Instructions
  1. PREHEAT oven to 325° F. Spray a mini donut hole pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. MEASURE and reserve 1/3rd cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels from the NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Brownies & More Baking Mix.
  3. PREPARE NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Brownies & More Baking Mix according to package directions. Mix in the remaining 2/3rd cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels from the bag.
  4. SPOON approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons of brownie batter into each mini donut hole pan well. A small cookie scoop works well for this.
  5. BAKE in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center of a brownie ball comes out clean. Allow brownie balls to cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing them to a cooling rack. Repeat with remaining batter. Allow brownie balls to cool completely.
  6. STACK snowmen by inserting a 4-inch lollipop stick into the centers of three brownie balls. The flatter sides of the brownie balls should be facing down and the stick will be facing up. Repeat with remaining brownie balls to create 10 snowmen.
  7. LINE a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  8. MELT NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels and shortening in uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH power for 45 seconds; STIR. If needed, microwave at additional 15-second intervals, stirring vigorously after each interval until morsels are melted.
  9. HOLD a snowman horizontally over the bowl of melted white morsels. Use a spoon to help evenly coat. Allow excess melted morsels to drip back into the bowl. Place snowmen on prepared baking sheets. Repeat with remaining snowmen. Place the pan into the refrigerator until the coating has hardened.
  10. MELT reserved NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Morsels using the same method used to melt the white morsels; however you will omit the shortening.
  11. DECORATE the snowmen faces by filling a piping bag with melted chocolate. Snip the tip of the bag to create a small hole. Pipe the eyes, nose, mouth and buttons. Allow decoration to harden. If desired, add additional decorations such as candy scarves, cookie hats and toothpick arms.
TIP:
  1. If you don’t have a donut hole pan, you can use a mini muffin pan, although the shapes will be less circular.
  2. If adding toothpick arms or orange candy noses, it is best to add those decorations while the coating is still tacky and not fully hardened.
