Eating is a necessity, but cooking is an art!
Below are a few of my favorite cooking tips!
Rub sea salt into the skin of the potato. Wrap the potato in a damp paper towel. Cover the paper towel with a damp hand towel and microwave the potato for exactly 8 minutes.
Use any prepared dough, fresh or refrigerated. Form into a 1lb ball and place in your crock pot on a piece of parchment paper. Turn on High and bake for about an hour (time varies depending on your Machine, so keep an eye). Let it cool before you slice it.
After working with garlic, rub your hands vigorously on your stainless steel sink for 30 seconds before washing them. It will remove the odor.
Store spices in a cool, dark place, not above your stove. Humidity, light and heat will cause herbs and spices to lose their flavor.
To make cookies SOFT, bake in a muffin pan.
They won’t spread out and will stay soft.
Place in muffin pan for 25 to 30 minutes on 325 degrees.
