  • 64 Pieces of Wall Block
  • 2 Bags of Paver Base .5 cu ft each
  • Fire Pit
  • 2 Tubes of Landscape Adhesive
  1. Step 1
  2. Dig a 45-inch-by-45-inch round hole 6 inches deep. The first course is buried to provide greater stability.
  3. Caution
  4. Before beginning any excavation, check for underground utilities. Call the North America One Call Referral Service at 1-888-258-0808 (or just dial 811) for a national directory of utility companies.
  5. Step 2
  6. Once the hole is dug and level, pour in paver base about 3 inches deep, and tamp until well compacted.
  7. Step 3
  8. Lay the first course, leveling as each stone is placed. Use the remaining base to level and fill in the first course.
  9. Step 4
  10. Fire Pit Block Courses.
  11. Rotate the pattern for each course so that you stagger the course underneath. Use landscape adhesive on each course if desired. (Note: This will require more than 2 tubes of adhesive.) Check for level after each course.
  12. Step 5
  13. After the fourth course has been set, lay the fire pit insert on top. You won't need to anchor or glue the fire pit to the stones.
