Easy Flaky Chocolate Rolls. This 4 ingredient, plus topped with almonds, recipe will make a melt in your mouth dessert.
1 can crescent-roll dough (refrigerated)
1 cup cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups melted semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sliced roasted almonds
Preheat the oven to 350F.
In a large bowl melt the chocolate chips in your microwave, checking every 30 seconds until melted. Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar and melted chocolate chips together. Mix well and set aside.
Open the can of crescent roll dough and on a large greased pan, arrange the dough in a circle with the points facing out. Generously spoon the cream cheese, sugar, chocolate chip mixture into the center of the crescent roll dough. Starting at the wide end cover the mixture. Pinch to seal and cover then place in the baking dish.
Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes or until lightly brown.
Top with sliced almonds while still hot.
Allow the crescent roll ring to cool to room temperature before serving.
