These Easy Pecan Cookie Bars are so simple to make. A gooey crunchy dessert recipe using only 5 ingredients. Made with very finely crushed pecan, brown sugar, flour, eggs and butter.
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2/3 cup butter softened
- 2 eggs beaten
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease an 8 X 8 inch square pan generously. Grease it well or it will stick.
In medium bowl, stir together brown sugar, flour and finely crushed pecans.
In a separate bowl, beat the butter and eggs together. Stir in dry ingredients just until combined.
Bake for 15 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick placed in the center comes out clean. The time depends on how gooey you want the bars. The less time the more gooey.
You can use a 9 inch pan, but won't be as tall.
