Easy Pineapple Pecan Poke Cake

Ingredients

White cake mix

Poke mixture:

8 oz. can crushed pineapples, with juice

1 cup sugar

Frosting:

8 oz. package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup butter, softened

3 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 to 3 cups crushed pecans


Instructions

Cake:

Bake cake according to package directions. Cool. Then poke holes in the top with a fork.

Poke mixture:

Boil crushed pineapples and sugar. Then pour over cooled cake.

Frosting:

In a large bowl mix cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar. Mix well. Add vanilla and crushed pecans, mix well. Frost cooled cake.

Notes

If you want a stacked cake then double the recipe.
