Honey Oatmeal Cookies



Raisin Pecan Honey Oatmeal Cookies. Easy homemade dessert recipe  that is healthy and chewy.  Made healthy with whole wheat flour, oats, raisins and honey.

Honey Oatmeal Cookies
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup pecans pieces
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
  4. In another large bowl, beat butter, honey, eggs and vanilla at medium speed with a mixture until well combined.
  5. Slowly add flour mixture, beating well.
  6. Add oats, raisins, and pecans. Mix well
  7. Drop dough by Tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet, approximately 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake until barely golden around bottom edges, 10 to 12 minutes.
  9. Remove from pans, and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. ***Makes approximately 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
