My Honeys Sweet and Sour Soup. A Chinese style recipe that is easy, tasty and ready in less than 30 minute.
My Honeys Sweet and Sour Soup
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 cooked chicken breast very thinly shredded
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoon pepper
- 6 Tablespoons corn starch
- 6 Tablespoons cold water
- 2 Tablespoon sugar
- 2 Tablespoon lemon juice
Mix the cornstarch with the water and blend thoroughly in a large sauce pan. Then add the soy sauce and chicken broth. Heat up over medium heat to a boil.
Add cooked chicken breast, vinegar, pepper, sugar, and lemon juice.
Simmer for 5 minutes until the juice starts to thicken.
Add the tofu, stir and remove from heat.
Serve while hot.
