Onion And Garlic Sauteed Mushrooms

  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • garlic cloves  minced
  • 1 and 1/4 lb mushrooms  cut up or sliced
  • freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4  cup  dry red wine
  • 1 Tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • salt to taste
  1. In a skillet, soften the garlic in oil and butter.
  2. Add the mushrooms and increase the heat slightly. Fry the mushrooms while stirring them until they begin to let go of their moisture. About 5 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients.
  4. Simmer 6-10 minutes or until the liquid has reduced by about one third.
