Out Of This World Pineapple Pork Chops. This recipe for a main meal with crispy, savory and tender pork chops with a sweet pineapple topping.
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 4 bone-in pork chops about 3/4 inch thick
- 1 can crushed pineapples undrained
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Mix the oil, ground paprika, salt and lime juice in a large shallow dish. Pat the pork chops dry and add them to the marinade. Allow them to sit for at least 15 minutes, or up to overnight.
When the pork chops are done marinating, cook them in the hot skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 to 10 minutes per side or until they're well browned and no longer raw in the middle.
Place undrained pineapples in a small sauce pan. Stir in brown sugar. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until well mixed and hot.
Pour over cooked pork chops and serve immediately.
