Pecan Custard Pie. Easy dessert recipe with an egg custard filling then topped with pecans.
For this recipe you can buy a 9 inch pie crust or Make Your Own
Pecan Custard Pie
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 9 inch pie crust
- 1 cup pecans for topping
Bake pie shell at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Set aside.
Combine melted butter or margarine, sugar, flour, milk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Add beaten eggs, and blend well. Pour filling into partially baked pie shell. Top with pecans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes, or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Do not overcook.
