Sweet And Easy Candied Strawberries. This easy dessert or appetizer recipe will make your strawberries even tastier.
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
Combine the sugar, water and corn syrup in a saucepan over medium heat.
When the sugar is dissolved turn the heat up and simmer.
Using a candy thermometer heat the candy to 300-310° and turn the heat to low.
Put a toothpick in the strawberries and dip the strawberries in the coating and shake it off.
Place parchment paper and let harden (it wont take long)
Serve the same day.
